Nice cafe with great food and pleasant staff. Just a shame about the coffee!! Would have had a 5 from me if the coffee had been better

I can’t recommend this café highly enough — it’s hands down one of the best spots I’ve found for a proper Full English breakfast in Somerset, and being a contractor I’ve tried quite a few…. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly smile that instantly makes you feel welcome. The Full English itself was perfection on a plate — golden runny egg, perfectly cooked bacon, juicy sausages, crisp fluffy hash browns, grilled tomato, mushrooms cooked just right, and the fluffiest toast. Everything tasted fresh and clearly made with care. The portion size was generous without being overwhelming, and every bite had that comforting, home-cooked taste. To top it off, a lovely pot of tea with a nice accompanying biscuit, and the service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Whether you’re starting your day or treating yourself to a lazy weekend brunch, this café delivers comfort, quality, and genuine charm in every way. Lovely touch seeing dogs being allowed in the courtyard also. If you’re looking for the perfect Full English breakfast — look no further. This place sets the standard!

Great cafe and great food. Really enjoyed the cottage pie, chips and peas. The meals came out very quick. Another cafe I would come back to.

Pets welcome servers all very welcoming and very professional no food was left. Being a regular full English breakfast (at least 2 a week) the best I have had in months

First time at Cafe Beans Ordered two full English breakfasts, two coffees Shown to a table as soon as we walked in & order taken soon after. Drinks were served quickly and there was a biscuit and plenty of sugar. There was a little wait for the food but not too long & when the food arrived it was well presented and all freshly cooked. Everything was delicious & hot. Overall it was an excellent experience which I enjoyed very much, would recommend to everyone.

Wonderful accessible café with amazing food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cafe Beans is a fantastic find. It’s properly accessible – my large wheelchair fit through the double doors with no problem, which made things so much less stressful. The staff are really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food is absolutely delicious – I had the breakfast omelette and it was amazing. Overall it was a brilliant experience and I’ll definitely be back again.

Ignore the bad reviews as this little cafe in the centre of Burnham High Street has been under new ownership since April 25 and I know the owner is passionate about getting things right and pleasing her customers. Food is simple Fayre but nicely cooked and nicely presented. Coffee is excellent and the place is spotlessly clean and service friendly. One or two local items on the menu would be good - perhaps local juices, breads or cheeses etc …. Just a thought for future menus - otherwise you are doing extremely well for your first season
